About This Opportunity
Join Information Technology Services (ITS) and play a pivotal role in delivering the infrastructure that powers one of Australia's leading universities. As Senior Coordinator, Project Delivery, you will apply your technical expertise and project delivery capability to coordinate the planning and implementation of complex ICT infrastructure projects across the University. Working within a collaborative, supportive and high-performing team, you will partner with internal stakeholders, contractors and vendors to deliver infrastructure outcomes that enable teaching, learning, research and engagement excellence. Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating ICT infrastructure projects and customer requests from inception through to successful completion.
- Managing project schedules, resources, contractors and vendors to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
- Providing technical coordination and stakeholder engagement across ITS, Property and Facilities, project managers, suppliers and construction teams.
- Supporting network deployment activities, infrastructure planning, operational handovers and the creation of technical documentation.
About You
- Extensive experience within networking infrastructure, ICT infrastructure, telecommunications infrastructure, or infrastructure-related construction environments.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating infrastructure projects, technical workstreams, or complex change activities from planning through delivery.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts, specifications and requirements into clear and practical information for stakeholders.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors and external service providers to achieve project outcomes.
- Strong documentation and technical writing capability, including the development of specifications, designs, technical documentation and contractor deliverables.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure.
- A proactive, innovative and customer-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality service delivery.
