Help grow Australia's heat transfer leader

A proactive customer engagement role, not a call-centre sales job.

Velflex is Australia's leader in heat transfer solutions. For 20 years, we've helped apparel decorators, brands, schools, sports teams and businesses across Australia bring garments to life with custom heat transfers, heat presses, vinyl, DTF equipment, consumables and expert education.

After years of improving our systems, products, service and customer experience, Velflex is growing strongly and continuing to exceed sales targets. Now we're looking for an Outbound Customer Engagement Specialist to help us keep that momentum going — reconnecting with past customers, building stronger relationships with active customers, helping identify new opportunities, and working closely with our Business Development Manager to drive sales growth.

This is not a pushy call-centre sales role. It's about smart follow-up, confident conversations, helpful product knowledge, and building trust with customers who rely on quality transfers, quick turnaround and expert support.

The Role

What you'll be doing.

You'll help grow Velflex's custom transfer sales by engaging customers before, during and after they order.

- Re-engaging old, inactive and lapsed customers

- Building and maintaining relationships with active customers

- Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend through better product education

- Supporting our BDM with lead research, customer lists and opportunity development

- Reaching out to prospective customers by phone and email

- Following up quotes,



samples, enquiries and previous orders

- Helping customers choose the right transfer product for their job

- Booking phone calls, virtual meetings and occasional local customer visits

- Maintaining accurate customer records and follow-up activity in NetSuite and HubSpot

- Preparing quotes and supporting order processing when required

- Working closely with Customer Service, Pre-press, Production, Dispatch and Management

About You

What we're looking for.

Someone who enjoys chasing opportunity, building relationships and following through properly.

- Confident and charismatic on the phone

- Comfortable making outbound calls and starting conversations

- Commercially minded without being pushy

- Organised and disciplined with follow-up

- Resilient when customers are busy or not ready to buy

- A strong communicator by phone and email

- Curious enough to ask good questions and understand customer needs

- Comfortable working with customer lists, CRM systems and sales activity tracking

- Able to build trust with customers over time

- Motivated by growth, targets and creating momentum

- A team player who works closely with sales, customer service and production

Previous experience in sales, account management, customer success, internal sales, retail sales, print, apparel or manufacturing would be highly regarded. Experience in heat transfers or garment decoration is a bonus, but not essential — we can teach the technical side if you bring the right attitude and hunger to grow.
