An exciting opportunity exists for a Salesperson with strong Sales and Account Management disciplines to join Fruitorama, a successful wholesaling business in The South Australian Produce Markets. Fruitorama is a market leader in fresh produce and has been around for over 50 years.

We are looking for an individual who loves the challenges of late nights and early mornings (12am - 7am over 6 days) and can deliver a sophisticated approach to driving customer satisfaction with some of Australia’s largest retailers.

Duties Required for Position:

The key responsibilities and duties of the Salesperson are as follows:

Processing of orders into our onboarding software for picking;

Developing relationships with sales departments of major customers;

Imparting knowledge to other team members on the sales principles in a fast-moving industry;

To ensure that sales are done in a professional and efficient manner at all times;

Ensure a high level of communication is maintained with warehouse/sales staff throughout the organisation regarding the selling process;





Develop Key Account Engagement processes and build Business Development opportunities (through Marketing/Sales strategies that enhance the selling/buying experience for our customers); and

Build a strong understanding of the supply chain for perishable products including FMCG principles.

The list above is not exhaustive but represents the main components of the role. There will times when you will be asked to carry out tasks as requested by authorised persons that vary from the list above.

Experience in the FMCG industry and a solid understanding of the Fresh Produce industry would be advantageous, but strong experience from other industries will be equally well regarded.
