Garwood Tree Services is a rapidly growing arboricultural company delivering tree management services across South East Queensland for local government, civil contractors, commercial clients and private customers.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Arborist to join our team. The successful applicant will commence on a casual basis, with consistent full-time hours available for the right person and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
About the Role
You’ll be working alongside experienced crews undertaking a variety of arboricultural works including council maintenance, commercial projects, civil works and private tree services. No two days are the same.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in the arboriculture industry.
- Climbing experience preferred.
- If you're not a climber, you must be a competent EWP/Bucket Operator .
- Certificate III in Arboriculture is highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience operating machinery such as excavators,
skid steers or loaders is advantageous.
- Willingness to work away from home on occasion when required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work well within a team.
