We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced labourerfor work with abridge maintenance team basedout of Wagga.
PLEASE NOTE: this role will require you to travel and camp away on a regular basis.
Ideally applicants will need to have prior experience with bridge maintenance or similar civil construction work. Applicants will need to hold current white card and an unrestricted Australian driver licence is also required (ie no interlock, passenger restrictions etc).
This role will involve working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day, 9 days/fortnight) for an initial period of approximately 4 months until Christmas - with potential of further work being available for good quality workers. Night work may be required at times.
Successful applicants will need to be able to follow direction and have common sense. You will be required to undertake a range of functions relating to maintaining timber, steel or concrete bridges, including assisting trades workers.
Previous experience in the areas of bridge work, builders labouring, concreting, formwork/falsework, carpentry or plant operation such as excavators would be a valuable match for the needs of this role. An understanding of basic hand power tools will be required.

- good all round fitness for manual work tasks
- previous experience with bridge construction or maintenance - highly desirable
- Workers on Foot (WOF) training course, or willingness to complete online before commencement of work
- other high risk tickets such as forklift, crane, EWP, working at heights would be advantageous
