ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking General Warehouse Workers for ongoing day shift opportunities. This is a hands-on role involving general warehouse duties, manual handling, housekeeping and keeping the workplace clean, safe and organised. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, dependable, and eager to contribute as part of a collaborative team.
SHIFT AVAILABLE & RATE
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $32.32 per hour + Super
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loading, unloading and manually handling timber materials
- Assisting with laminating, including gluing and joining timber products
- Operating and assisting with the vacuum coating machine
- Feeding 2-3 metre timber pieces onto conveyors
- Operating/assisting with the Taylor hydraulic press to bond timber and remove excess glue
- Assisting with cutting, sanding, trimming and finishing timber products
- Inspecting and packing finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe production area
- Following WHS procedures and protected manual handling practices
- Assisting machine operators and production staff as required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous experience in timber, warehouse, production or manual handling is an advantage.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding work
- Physically fit and able to handle timber materials throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full working rights in Australia
