About the role:

As 1 of our friendlyFood Services Assistant ,you’llbe part of an experienced,engagedand dedicated team helping to create a welcoming,professionaland supportive care experience for the residents of ourMaroochydore facility. We are located in the heart of Sunshine Coast, which is within walking distance of restaurants and boutiques alongDuporthAvenue, the Sunshine Plaza shopping centre, theMaroochyRSL, Maroochydore Rotary Park, and theMaroochyRiver. Our 130-bed facilityisa modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct on Queensland’s famed Sunshine Coast.

Things that work for us:

- Ability to work on apermanent part-time basis (orcasual basis)
- Commitment to cover AM ) and/or PM ) shifts, Monday to Friday
- Previousexperience in a similar roleassistingin the preparation and serving of meals
- Assistingwith food service duties including setting tables, cleaningdishesand cleaning
- Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
- Commercial cookery qualifications desirable
- An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation
- High levelof customer service skills
- Ability to work on a permanent part time or casual basis
- Previousexperience in a similar role
- Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
- Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
- Current or willing to apply for a NDIS Worker Screening Check
