Our Client is a well-established manufacturing business supplying quality steel products to the construction and industrial sectors. They operate a busy production site with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and career progression. This position is a permanent position offering progression and stability.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Loader with Forklift Operator you will be required 5am-1:30pm and will be responsible for the below duties:
- Loading and unloading steel products from trucks using forklift
- Moving materials safely throughout the yard and warehouse
- Assisting with overhead crane operations where required
- Conducting prestart checks on plant and equipment
- Operating production machinery to bend, cut and measure materials
- Picking and assembling building accessories
- Replenishing raw material bays and machine stations
- Operating loading PCs and RF scanners
- Emptying steel scrap bins and assisting with scrap recovery
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Current Forklift Licence with practical experience
- Previous production or manufacturing experience
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team/good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical / Drug and Alcohol
