Home cooking company has an exciting opportunity to join our first ever retail store in Australia. This role will suit Sales Assistants with a passion for cooking and kitchen appliances. Casual flexible schedule or the opportunity for part-time work.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Explain the features and benefits of our cooking products to customers to encourage informed purchasing decisions.
- Actively promote our products and upsell complementary items to increase sales.
- Ensure thorough knowledge of all our products available in the store, including new launches and product blockbusters.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Process sales orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store and product displays.
- Restock shelves and replenish inventory to ensure product availability and best placement.




- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock-takes.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds in line with store policies.

Skills and Experience

- 2 plus years retail experience
- Good communication and selling skills
- Passion for cooking highly desirable
- Good learning agility to quickly comprehend a wide range of products along with their features and benefits, enabling effective communication with customers
- Teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
- Time management and multitasking abilities to handle busy periods and competing priorities efficiently
- Problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and operational issues quickly and effectively.
- A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude, essential for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
