What’s it about?

Our Summer Student Internship is a paid, full-time 12-week program from November 2026 to February 2027. It focuses on the development of students who can offer strong problem solving and excellent communication skills.

What will you be doing?

Your experience from university will be utilised in real world projects embedded in our business, helping to shape the future of Australia’s energy industry. You’ll collaborate with Origin employees to support them in delivering today’s energy needs and innovate to create tomorrow’s energy solutions. Our 12-week internships span engineering, geoscience, commercial, finance and technology teams across the business.

Areas of study we're recruiting for:

- Engineering: Petroleum, Chemical/Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics and Renewable Energy Engineering (and other engineering disciplines)
- Geoscience / Geology
- Finance, Accounting & Commerce
- Information Technology, Computer Science & Software Engineering
- Commercial / Business / Economics
- You're based in Australia, due to graduate in 2026 or 2027, and hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
