About the Role

Role Responsibilities

This role is responsible for delivering practical Microsoft 365 governance, compliance and information protection outcomes for clients, with a strong focus on Microsoft Purview, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and modern collaboration environments.

Working as part of OPC’s governance and project delivery team, you will help clients reduce risk, improve regulatory alignment, protect sensitive information and confidently adopt scalable Microsoft 365 governance practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Administer Microsoft 365 governance platforms, including Microsoft Purview, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.

- Design scalable information architectures aligned to client business needs and governance objectives.

- Lead governance, compliance and information protection initiatives using Microsoft Purview (DLP,



sensitivity labels, retention).

- Drive storage optimisation, lifecycle management and cost-conscious governance across Microsoft 365.

- Plan and deliver migrations, automation, integrations and technical transformation work using modern Microsoft 365 tooling.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have:

- 3+ years' experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions

- Robust understanding of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, information protection, data governance, compliance and records management

- Experience delivering technical projects from design through to implementation

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage competing priorities and client expectations

- Be a self-starter who is innately curious and will work hard while maintaining a great attitude

- Be Canberra based

Highly desirable experience includes:

- Experience contributing to pre-sales and solution design activities

- Experience with Microsoft Copilot

- Experience working with not-for-profit, government or regulated organisations

- Strong practical knowledge of PowerShell

- Certifications in the Microsoft security, compliance and identity space

- Microsoft Power Bi skills

- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
