Sundance Racking Pty Ltd is a specialist pallet racking installation, relocation, repair and maintenance contractor, operating throughout Australia but primarily based in Victoria and New South Wales. With extensive experience in large-scale warehouse developments, distribution centres, automated storage systems and cold storage facilities, Sundance Racking provides safe, compliant and high-quality installation services for some of Australia's leading logistics, warehousing and manufacturing businesses.

About the role

As our Senior Bookkeeper, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day financial operations across our business, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and financial control. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and enjoys managing the full finance function. Working closely with our director and external accountants, you will manage all finance-related activities throughout the year, including debt collection, payment processing, payroll, and year-end preparation, playing a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of the business.

Key responsibilities

- Lead all financial operations, reporting, and compliance
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and other statutory obligations
- Maintain financial records and ensure data integrity within MYOB
- Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including debt collection and payments
- Reconcile bank,



credit card and general ledger accounts
- Process invoices, reimbursements, bank transfers, and weekly payroll for 50 staff
- Perform financial data entry and general administration tasks
- You'll be solely responsible for the management and execution of all finance related activities outside of our annualtax return and annual strategic planning.
- Liaise with external tax accountants for a smooth year end

Your Experience and Skills:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- You're a commercially minded finance leader who combines robust technical capability with strategic thinking and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience in MYOB
- Able to work autonomously, planning out your week and month to get everything done at the right time
- Able to reconcile the Balance Sheet and provide insightful commentary on the P&L;
- Comfortable lodging BAS, payroll tax, Workcover and other reports to government entities
- Being a kind and courteous team member who enjoys their work is also important to us and our team.
- Certificate IV in Accounting, Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification (desirable)

Working arrangements:

This role is based on site at our head office in Sunshine West.

You will report to the Director and have one direct report yourself.

You will receive support with onboarding and handover as part of your induction.

Full-Time

While this is advertised as a full-time position, we're open to considering a 0.8 FTE arrangement for an exceptional candidate who brings the right skill set and experience.
