The Position

- Manage import cargo for sea and air freight from beginning to end
- Monitor and report cargo status from origin to delivery
- Resolve any potential service issues
- Liaise with overseas and local offices, internal departments and carriers
- Receive shipment pre-alerts and specifications prior to departure
- Process import documentation for air and sea freight shipments
- Ensure efficient import processes to expedite clearance and delivery

The Requirements

- Proven import experience within a freight forwarder with exposure to air and sea processes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Well developed negotiation, customer service and problem solving skills
- Cargowise experience - 1- 2 years minimum preferred
