Job Description

The Role The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and campaigns, leading and guiding the sales team, monitoring performance, and coordinating sales activities to achieve business targets. The role will focus on driving sales growth, improving team performance, developing staff capability, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and compliance.

Working closely with senior leadership, marketing, and compliance teams, the Sales Manager will identify opportunities to improve sales performance, conversion, processes, and overall business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results.

Develop and implement sales strategies, processes, and initiatives to improve conversion and sales efficiency.

Conduct regular coaching, call reviews, one-on-one meetings, and performance feedback.

Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for agreed KPIs and sales targets.

Analyse sales performance, conversion rates, lead quality, talk time, and other key metrics to identify trends and opportunities.

Identify performance gaps and implement targeted coaching, training, and development plans.

Support the onboarding and ongoing development of new and existing sales team members.

Work closely with Marketing to improve lead quality, campaign performance, and sales outcomes.

Ensure sales processes and customer interactions meet company policies, compliance requirements,



and customer service standards.

Build and maintain a positive, accountable, and high-performance sales culture.

Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning as required.

Prepare sales performance reports and provide recommendations to senior leadership.

Continuously review and improve sales processes, call structures, objection handling, and customer engagement strategies.

Skills & Experience

Relevant bachelor degree plus at least one year of relevant experience.

Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team. Strong understanding of sales processes, conversion strategies, KPIs, and performance management. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use sales data to drive performance. Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate a team while maintaining clear performance expectations and accountability.

Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting platforms, with Zoho CRM experience highly regarded. Strong understanding of customer service, sales compliance, and delivering positive customer outcomes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
