About GROUTIX
GROUTIX is a growing Victoria-based specialist in shower regrouting, balcony regrouting, epoxy grouting, silicone replacement, tile repairs, waterproofing and leaking shower repairs.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Tiling, Regrouting & Shower Repair Subcontractors to complete ongoing residential and commercial work .

We are looking for experienced tradespeople who can do more than simply grout. The right contractor should be capable of completing full shower tiling and wet-area works when required , as well as GROUTIX's specialist regrouting and repair services.

This is not a trainee position. Applicants must have previous professional hands-on experience and be capable of completing allocated work independently with minimal supervision.

GROUTIX provides the customers, scheduled jobs and materials required for the works . You provide the trade expertise, tools and vehicle.

What Most GROUTIX Jobs Involve

The majority of our day-to-day work consists of:

- Epoxy regrouting of showers and tiled areas

- Removal and replacement of silicone

- Replacing a small number of damaged or loose tiles

- Repairing and securing loose, hollow or drummy tiles

- Shower and wet-area repairs

- Balcony regrouting and repairs

- General grout, tile and sealant repairs

We also undertake larger tiling and wet-area works when required.

Other Work May Include

- Removing existing grout and silicone

- Polymer/cement-based grouting

- Removing existing tiles

- Installing new wall and floor tiles

- Preparing walls and floors for tiling

- Surface and substrate preparation

- Screeding shower floors

- Creating appropriate falls to wastes

- Waterproofing membrane application

- Tiling complete shower walls and floors

- Cutting and fitting tiles around drains, niches, fixtures and penetrations

- Grouting newly installed tiles

- Silicone and caulking

- Minor wet-area repairs

- Final cleaning and presentation

- Taking before-and-after photos





- Communicating professionally with customers and site contacts

- Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Who We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in:

- Qualified or highly experienced Wall & Floor Tilers

- Experienced regrouting technicians with broader tiling skills

- Waterproofers with strong tiling experience

- Shower repair specialists

- Bathroom and wet-area repair tradespeople

You should be comfortable completing our regular epoxy regrouting, silicone replacement and tile repair work , while also having the broader trade skills required to undertake more substantial shower tiling works when required.

Ideally, you should be capable of taking a complete shower tiling job from surface preparation, screeding and waterproofing through to tile installation, grouting, silicone and final finishing .

Requirements

Applicants must have:

- Demonstrated qualified wall and floor tiling experience

- Strong shower and wet-area experience

- Robust grout removal and regrouting skills

- Professional tile installation and repair experience

- Ability to repair and replace loose, damaged or drummy tiles

- Experience with screeding and surface preparation

- Experience with waterproofing membrane application

- Strong silicone/caulking skills

- Ability to complete allocated jobs independently with minimal supervision

- Own reliable vehicle

- Valid Australian driver's licence

- Own tools and equipment

- ABN

- Appropriate insurance for subcontracting work

- White Card

- High attention to detail

- Professional presentation and customer service

- Reliable communication and attendance

- Ability and willingness to travel to allocated jobs

Experience with epoxy grout, shower regrouting,



balcony regrouting and leaking-shower repairs is highly regarded .

For the right subcontractor, we can provide consistent ongoing job opportunities , with the potential for increased job allocation as the relationship develops.

There is no need to generate your own leads or find your own customers for GROUTIX-allocated work.

This opportunity is particularly suited to an experienced tradesperson who enjoys working independently and wants access to an established pipeline of work without the time and cost involved in generating every job themselves.

This opportunity is for experienced tradespeople capable of performing professional tiling and wet-area work immediately .

We are not currently looking for apprentices or applicants requiring extensive trade training.
