Your Opportunity As a Senior Adviser, you will work as part of a collaborative team to deliver tax compliance and business advisory services to a diverse range of clients. You will build your technical capabilities across tax and accounting matters while developing strong client service and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for a small business
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other compliance obligations.
- Support the delivery of tax compliance and advisory engagements.
- Assist with Division 7A compliance, trust distribution calculations and tax planning activities.
- Develop an understanding of different business structures, including companies, trusts, partnerships and corporate groups.
- Support private businesses and family groups with accounting, tax and business advisory requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and working papers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of work.
- Build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in ongoing technical and career development activities.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:
- 1-3 years' experience in Business Services & Tax, Public Practice or Professional Services.
- Exposure to preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS.
- Foundational knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with a range of entity structures, including companies, trusts and partnerships, is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
