The Electrical Services Engineer is responsible for supporting the successful design coordination, installation, testing, commissioning and delivery of electrical building services across assigned projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager – MEP and site delivery teams, the role ensures electrical works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and in accordance with project specifications, Australian Standards and client requirements. The role is suited to an experienced building services engineer with strong technical capability and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to delivering complex commercial, industrial and mission-critical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage electrical services throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor construction activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme
- Assist with planning, sequencing and coordination of electrical installation activities
- Support subcontractor management and monitor performance against programme and quality requirements
- Review electrical design documentation for buildability, compliance and coordination
- Manage RFIs, design clarifications and technical queries
- Coordinate with mechanical, hydraulic,



fire and CSA disciplines to resolve interface issues
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with approved documentation
- Coordinate inspections and witness testing activities
- Ensure electrical works comply with WHS legislation, Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project specifications

Skill & Experience

- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience delivering electrical services on commercial construction projects
- Solid understanding of LV electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, communications, fire detection and building management systems
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and consultants
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
