Working Arrangement: Office-based, with hybrid flexibility as you settle into the role
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team and manage an established SME portfolio worth around $400k.
You’ll be the main point of contact for your clients, managing their insurance needs from renewal through to claims and everything in between. You’ll have the support of dedicated claims, placement and operations teams, giving you more time to focus on your clients and providing good, practical advice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and build strong relationships across an established SME portfolio
- Lead the renewal process from start to finish, using a 90/60/30-day approach
- Review clients’ businesses and identify gaps in cover or areas of risk
- Work with our claims team to support clients when they need to make a claim
- Identify opportunities to grow and retain the portfolio
- Support and mentor junior Account Executives
- Work closely with placement, claims and operations teams to deliver a good client experience
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in commercial insurance broking, ideally across SME clients
- Good understanding of commercial insurance products and risks
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Well organised, reliable and comfortable managing your own portfolio
- Someone who takes pride in doing a good job for their clients
- An interest in supporting and developing junior team members
