Occupational Therapist – Western Sydney | Community, Clinic & Telehealth
$90,000–$120,000 + super | Flexible working | NDIS
Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for more autonomy, flexibility and meaningful clinical work?
Our client is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their growing multidisciplinary team in Penrith , with the freedom to build a role around the way you work best.
Why this role?
This is not your traditional 9–5 clinic role . You can work across clinic, community, client homes, supported accommodation and telehealth , creating a schedule that works for both you and your clients.
You'll be trusted to use your professional judgement without unnecessary micromanagement, while still having access to robust clinical support and collaboration.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct OT assessments, including functional capacity assessments where appropriate
- Develop individualised and practical intervention plans
- Support clients to build independence and participation in everyday life
- Work across areas including ADLs, emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning and community participation
- Provide recommendations around equipment, assistive technology and environmental modifications
- Complete high-quality reports and clinical documentation
- Monitor client progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Work with children, adolescents and/or adults across a range of presentations
- Collaborate with families, carers, support workers, schools and other professionals

About you
You’ll ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and report-writing skills
- Experience with disability, community or NDIS clients is highly valued
- Experience working with psychosocial, neurological, developmental and/or physical disabilities
- Understanding of trauma-informed, neuro-affirming or strengths-based practice
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Genuine curiosity and commitment to ongoing learning

Salary & flexibility
$90,000–$120,000 + superannuation
Full-time, with genuine flexibility around how and where you work .
Part-time may also be considered for the right candidate.
