About the firm This is a boutique chartered accounting and tax practice based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The team is small, close-knit and genuinely good at what they do – acting for private business groups, high-net-worth individuals and families, and SMEs across a broad range of industries. Because it's boutique, there's no siloing: you'll see the full picture of a client's affairs and work directly with the partners rather than three layers removed.

The role Reporting to the partners, you'll take ownership of a portfolio spanning compliance and advisory, including:

- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships,



SMSFs and individuals
- Advisory work – tax planning, structuring, and supporting clients through the decisions that matter to them
- Building genuine, ongoing client relationships
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff

What you'll bring

- CA or CPA qualified (or well progressed)
- Several years' business services experience within Australian public practice
- Confidence across the full compliance function, with a real interest in advisory
- Strong technology skills (Xero and the usual practice suite)
- The self-discipline to thrive in a role built on trust and autonomy
