About the Role
Reporting to the GM Brand Marketing, you'll lead the development, execution and performance of Zambrero's social content ecosystem, making sure the brand shows up in a way that's culturally relevant, engaging and commercially effective across every platform.
You'll translate brand strategy, campaigns, innovation and our Plate4Plate philanthropy into high-quality, platform-native content that drives real outcomes including awareness, engagement, customer acquisition and conversion. You'll also play a key role in amplifying restaurant-level growth, helping new store openings and local area marketing come to life through great content.
This is a hands-on role: you'll be briefing and quality controls content production and publishing, working closely with, external creators, agencies and production partners to keep content moving at pace.
What You'll Do
Develop and lead a content and social strategy aligned to brand, campaign and commercial objectives
Build and manage a structured content calendar that balances planned and reactive content
Lead high-quality short-form video and platform-native content across key channels with partners
Manage end-to-end content production, from briefing and filming through to editing and publishing
Partner with the Zambrero Design Team to ensure strong creative and brand consistency
Manage all social channels, including posting, community engagement, optimisation and paid media
Stay ahead of trends, platform changes and cultural moments to keep Zambrero relevant
Develop and manage influencer and creator partnerships
Support restaurant openings
Develop local content frameworks for franchise partners and restaurant teams
Spot and capture great in-store stories, events and local marketing moments
Track performance metrics and optimise content strategy based on data, delivering clear, consistent reporting
Build productive content workflows, using tools and AI
Stakeholder management competing requests across Product, Ops, campaign and franchise teams- prioritisation matrix malmanagement
Agency and partner management specifics: briefing, scope, timelines and budget accountability
Budget ownership and tracking
About You
Proven experience in social media, content or digital marketing including all social platforms
Experience in QSR, retail or consumer brands preferred
Deep understanding of social platforms and what drives content performance
Experience working with creators, agencies and design teams
Strong storytelling and copywriting ability
Comfortable using data and analytics to guide decisions- and use of tools and scorecards
Highly organised, with the ability to work at pace across multiple priorities
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field
Meta and TikTok certifications highly regarded
The practical realities up front: travel for store openings, and the reactive nights/weekends nature of social, so the right person for this role understands and is flexible to be able to accommodate
