Boorowa District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its team on a contract basis starting 30 August 2026. This is a 6 to 12-week opportunity across the Emergency Department, Acute Care, and Aged Care services at the Boorowa Multi-Purpose Service in NSW. The role offers $45.00 to $60.00 per hour and is ideal for a clinician looking for flexible, meaningful work in a rural healthcare setting.

- Work across ED, acute, and aged care services in a supportive rural hospital setting
- $45.00 to $60.00 per hour, contract basis for 6-12 weeks
- In-charge and triage responsibilities, with scope to lead clinical care across multiple settings

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience in Emergency Department nursing, including triage assessment
- Solid background in acute care and aged care nursing
- In-charge experience and the ability to lead a small team or shift
- Strong clinical communication and the capacity to work flexibly across multiple service areas

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing or rural health practice
