Production Chef - Brisbane Airport (SSP Australia)

About the Role

SSP Australia are seeking experienced Production Chefs to join our team at Brisbane Airport on a Full-time basis or Part-time basis , with early 4am starts .

You will work alongside a professional Head Chef and a highly skilled culinary team, supported by strong leadership. The ideal candidate will bring experience in production kitchens, a positive, can-do attitude, and a commitment to achieving outstanding results while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What are skills and experience are we looking for?

- At least 2 years’ experience as a Cook or Chef working in a similar role

- Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery (Essential)

- Food Handlers Certificate (Essential)

- Hold a valid Driver's License and have access to a vehicle to commute to and from work (Essential)

- Experience in working in large kitchen teams

- A passion for food and an eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills

- Knowledge in WHS Compliance and strong understanding of food safety and practices

- Organised, responsible, and can manage a section

- A high standard of food preparation, presentation and service

- Excellent time management skills, strong communication skills and collaborative work mentality

- A lively personality and positive attitude

- Ability to work early 4am starts efficiently and effectively

This role is available for an immediate start for the right candidate.
