The Opportunity:

AIA Australia is currently hiring a Senior Manager/Head of Technology Risk to oversee our organisational technology risk and other related activities including AI, cyber, third party and data risks. Within this role the successful candidate will provide advice, as well asreview and challenge the Business, particularly the Technologyteam,in relation to the development, management and implementation of effectivetechnology riskframeworks. This role is pivotalinidentifying,assessingand mitigating TechnologyRisks that couldimpactAIA Australia.

The successful candidate would be responsible for:

- Providing expert guidance and oversight of Technologyrisks (includingcyber, data, AI and third party), Technologyoperations,practicesand proceduresto ensure that they are implemented according to the risk management frameworksand approved by respective Boards
- Liaison with regulators and provide responses to regulatory enquiries within portfolio responsibilities
- Supporting the GM Risk in the internal and external Risk andCompliance reporting processes whichsupportsan ongoing evaluation of the entity’s risk profile
- Providing insight,oversightand challenge to the Technology businessunit; including the influence and impacts of IT strategies, operationsand projects across all AU business areas
- Act as delegate for GM Risk whererequired; including, but notlimited to, Risk forums and Steering/Governance Committees at eithera local or Group level
- The monitoring of current and emergingTechnologyrisk trendsrelevant to the Australian business

To be successful in this position, you will:





- Demonstrate significant experienceinTechnology, Data Protection, Data Privacyand/or Strategic Risk related role (Including cyber, data, AI andthird-partyrisks)
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, influencing and engagement skills
- Be able to work with and across the team and business at all levels
- Possess a high levelof self-awareness and commitment to continuous learningand improvement
- Be able to adapt your working style to a fast-paced work environment, managingmultiple stakeholder priorities and manage demanding workloads
- Demonstrable a robust understanding of core regulations
- Possess relevant tertiary,riskor related professional qualifications
