About the Role:

You will provide practical, non-clinical psychosocial support to mental health consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation settings, using your lived experience to support recovery and wellbeing.



Working under the supervision of a clinician and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist consumers to achieve their goals, build confidence and develop strategies that support their recovery journey.

- Lived experience of mental health recovery and personal wellbeing strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with consumers, families and carers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities.
- Understanding of mental health challenges and commitment to recovery-oriented, non-judgemental support.
- Ability to engage with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally appropriate manner and experience using Microsoft Office.
