The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a well established mid sized manufacturing business based in Sydney. The rolewill oversee the full finance function, supporting the General Manager with commercial decision making, including pricing, through high quality analysis, while maintaining a stronginternal controls and compliance environment. Thisis an excellent opportunity to join an exciting business in a close knit team.

The role will have responsibility across:

- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles.
- Provide commercial insights on sales performance, margins, manufacturing costs, and profitability.
- Lead all accounting, finance, reporting, and compliance activities for the Australian business.
- Deliver accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee costing, inventory valuation, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing cost analysis.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity planning.
- Drive process improvements, ERP optimisation,



and internal control enhancement.
- Lead and develop a small finance team while supporting a culture of continuous improvement

Experience required

- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
- 8+ years' progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
- Manufacturing industry experience essential
- Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Robust knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance.
- Comfortable working in a hands on roleoffering commercial insight while also being across the detailed numbers
