This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director (Team Leader) Fire Engineer based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. The Director will lead a team of fire engineers while managing fire safety engineering projects from inception through to completion. Responsibilities include developing and implementing fire engineering solutions, providing technical oversight on projects, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The Director will also be involved in mentoring team members and contributing to business growth through strategic planning and client relationship building.

Qualifications

- Proven expertise in fire safety engineering, including the development and implementation of fire safety solutions across different building types
- Extensive knowledge of international building codes,



including those used in Australia.
- Robust leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Relevant qualifications in fire engineering discipline
- Experience in design, construction, and building management phases within the fire engineering domain
- A demonstrated ability to provide strategic planning input and drive business development initiatives forward
