Idea 11 is looking for a SeniorSystems Engineer with strong networking andfirewallmanagement skillsto join our Managed Services team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, taking ownership of customer outcomes, and building theirexpertiseacrossnetworks,securityandinfrastructure.

You'lloperateas a key technical escalation point,specialisingin networks and firewalls, working closely with senior engineers to resolve complex issues and deliver high-quality outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

- Resolvingissues relating to networks,firewallsand platform issues
- Owning tickets through to resolution whilemaintainingstrong customer communication
- Participating in incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Performing scheduled maintenance and proactive system improvements
- Working directly with customers on technical issues and escalations
- Contributing to projects, migrations, and platform improvements
- Maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Assistingwith technical reviews and operational improvement initiatives

Our Core Technology Stack

- Networking(Cisco/Meraki)




- Firewalls (PaloAltoand Fortinet)
- Windows Operating Systems
- Hypervisors (VMware / Hyper-V)

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years in anetworking/infrastructurerole
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supportingITenvironments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive mindset focused on ownership and continuous improvement

While certifications are not mandatory,you'llstand out if you hold (or are actively pursuing) certifications inPaloAlto,Fortinetand Cisco.
