Our client is a growing bookkeeping practice that provides high-quality bookkeeping, payroll and financial administration services to a broad range of clients. With a strong focus on accuracy, client service, continuous improvement and team collaboration, they are seeking an experienced General Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated bookkeeping professional who enjoys managing multiple client files, taking ownership of their work, and building trusted relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

- Manage multiple client files using Xero and Hubdoc.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and ABA payment files.
- Complete bank, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
- Review financial reports and investigate discrepancies.
- Process payroll, including STP, leave, commencements and terminations.
- Manage deadlines, maintain Asana tasks and update procedures.
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service.

Ideal Candidate





- 5+ years' bookkeeping experience, ideally in a bookkeeping practice or multi-entity environment.
- Strong experience with Xero and Hubdoc.
- Skilled in AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, journals and month-end processing.
- Solid payroll knowledge, including STP, leave and terminations.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive problem-solver who identifies and resolves discrepancies.
