We're looking for an experienced Automotive Paint Prep Technician to join our growing paint department in Mudgee.
This is an opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped workshop alongside a supportive team that takes pride in producing high-quality repairs—not cutting corners.
About the Role
You'll play a critical role in keeping our paint shop flowing by preparing vehicles to the highest standard.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing recent and repaired panels for paint.
- Sanding, feather edging and final preparation.
- Priming and block sanding.
- Masking vehicles to a high standard.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Working closely with our painters to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Contributing to a positive, team-first culture.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in automotive paint preparation.
- Takes pride in producing quality work.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Works efficiently and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
- Is reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
