The Position: Provide direct patient care under the supervision and direction of Sleep Scientists. Participate in a roster to support Centre service commitments, including: Setting up equipment and patients for sleep monitoring Removing and cleaning equipment Perform accurate data entry. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Manager or Supervisor. Contribute as a valued team member to a supportive and collaborative work environment. Communicate effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues using appropriate formal and informal channels. Participate in and support quality improvement and risk management initiatives across all aspects of service delivery. Comply with all applicable St John of God Health Care policies and guidelines. Take reasonable care for personal safety and the safety of others. Use systems and equipment correctly and do not interfere with safety measures. Identify, eliminate, or minimise workplace hazards. Seek information about work-related risks and hazards. Report all incidents, hazards, and injuries promptly. Assist in completing incident, hazard, and injury reports. Contribute to the development of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures. Raise OHS concerns and participate in OHS consultation processes. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Attend all mandatory and recommended OHS training. Promote a positive safety culture through active commitment to OHS.
