We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Chefs and Cooks to join our team across Perth metro and regional Western Australia.
This role is suitable for candidates who are passionate about preparing nutritious, secure, and high-quality meals for residents in aged care and healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menus, dietary requirements, and facility standards
- Ensure meals are nutritious, well-presented, and suitable for aged care residents
- Prepare texture-modified meals, including soft, minced, moist, and pureed meals where required
- Follow special dietary requirements, including diabetic, gluten-free, low-salt, high-protein, vegetarian, and allergy-specific meals
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and infection control
- Monitor food quality, portion control, stock rotation, and safe food storage
- Work with kitchen hands, care staff, nurses, and facility teams to ensure smooth meal service
- Complete kitchen cleaning duties and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any food safety, stock, equipment, or resident meal concerns to the supervisor
- Follow workplace health and safety, food safety, and aged care procedures

Essential Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in aged care, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial kitchen environments




- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is desirable
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate or Food Handling certificate is desirable
- Current National Police Check, valid within the last 12 months
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Infection Control Training is desirable
- Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination certificates, if required by the facility
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, allergens, and dietary requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Availability for casual shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, or regional placements
