About The Role
Canberra Grammar School is seeking beginner and experienced coaches who are committed to developing students in their chosen sport. The role of a Co-curricular Sports Coach is to instruct students on fundamental skills and foster player development within a fun, inclusive and safe environment. We offer the following sports:
Summer Sports:
Cricket, Dragon Boats, Rowing, Touch Football
Year-round:
Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Strength and Conditioning, Swimming, Water Polo
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
Engaging and enthusiastic coaching style with effective communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work with various levels of abilities across various age groupsDemonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessionsTwo professional references
All team members at CGS are required to have:
Appropriate qualificationsA valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People CardA current National Police Check; andFull working rights within Australia.
