ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Estimator to join a forward-thinking civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. Core Responsibilities

- Prepare, assess, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations with precision and commercial insight
- Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for permanent works
- Forecast labour, plant, and material requirements in line with project programs and engineering standards
- Ensure all resource estimates align with tender schedules and key milestones
- Compile, review, and submit professional tender submissions that meet client and contract requirements
- Analyse contract terms for compliance, identifying and addressing potential risks
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive handover documentation to ensure smooth project execution
- Collaborate with project delivery teams to capture productivity data and enhance future estimating accuracy

What You Will Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field




- 5–7+ years of proven experience in estimating and tendering within the civil construction sector
- Demonstrated success in pricing and securing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with estimation software (Candy CCS or similar preferred)
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, engineering processes, and project feasibility assessment
- Ability to evaluate site conditions using survey data and in office inspections
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior estimators highly regarded
