Natural England is seeking a Sustainable Development Higher Officer to advise Local Planning Authorities on environmental impacts of Local Plans and planning applications, delivering the current Environmental Improvement Plan.
You will help manage pressures like recreational disturbance and water pollution, engage early with major developments, and develop approaches to secure large-scale environmental outcomes for nature and people’s connection with nature, across a diverse caseload.
