The Position

It caters to a catchment area that exceeds 110,000 residents and boasts a total capacity of almost 300 beds along with an extensive array of primary and community healthcare services. It serves as the primary acute care referral center for the South West Region, houses a Deakin Clinical School on its premises, and is the largest employer in the region.

Set halfway between the beach and the vineyards, this charming town is only 2 hours from Sydney by car or rail. A modern,



Level 4 regional referral facility that opened in 2022 to serve a fast-growing community with 339 beds, it provides comprehensive services including emergency, surgery, maternity, and intensive care.

The RequirementsOne or more of the following:

- Possessat least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine
- Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Eligible foreither theStandard pathway, Competent Authority, Short Term Training Pathway or Specialist Pathway.
- All IMG's who have completed AMC MCQ 1 and eligible for the Standard Pathway.
- Those IMG'swho are working in theUK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ and eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway.
- IMG's who are either a Specialist in the home country or within a year of obtaining their Specialist qualification and eligible for the Short Term Training Pathway.
- IMG's who have lodged their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
