Join a national health management team supporting employees across UGL, CPB Contractors and other CIMIC Group businesses, partnering with some of Australia's largest rail, transport, energy, resources and infrastructure projects.

We're looking for a Workers Compensation Administrator to join our growing national team, based in North Sydney or Melbourne. As part of an expansion of our workers compensation and injury management capability, you’ll assist with workers compensation, income protection and salary continuance claims. This role offers exposure to complex claims, wage reimbursement processes and multiple state jurisdictions, providing an excellent opportunity to build specialised workers compensation expertise within one of Australia's largest and most diverse claims environments.

Why this role

- Join one of Australia's largest workers compensation and injury management teams, supporting employees across UGL, CPB Contractors and other CIMIC businesses.
- Support employees working on some of Australia's largest rail, transport, construction, resources and infrastructure projects.
- Build specialist expertise in complex workers compensation claims, weekly benefits and wage reimbursements across multiple states and jurisdictions.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of enterprise agreements, payroll arrangements and industrial environments, creating unique claims scenarios that will broaden your experience.
- Be part of a supportive national team where you'll learn from experienced Workers Compensation and Injury Management professionals and build your career within one of Australia's largest workers compensation environments.

About the role

As a Workers Compensation Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of workers compensation claims and related processes.

This isn't your typical workers compensation administration role. Supporting employees across the diverse businesses within the CIMIC Group means you'll be exposed to a broad range of industries, enterprise agreements, payroll structures and industrial environments. No two claims are the same, giving you the chance to build specialist knowledge in an environment that's complex and varied.

You'll work closely with payroll teams, insurers, project stakeholders and Injury Management Advisors to ensure claims are processed accurately and employees receive the support they're entitled to.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate injury notifications and gather information required to support claim lodgement and progression.
- Assist with the administration of workers compensation, income protection and salary continuance claims.
- Work with payroll to manage wage-related claim activities, including calculations, tracking, reconciliations and insurer reimbursements.
- Liaise with project teams, payroll and insurers to support timely and accurate outcomes for injured workers.
- Prepare claim documentation, coordinate medical expense payments and lower complexity claims,

including raising purchase orders, maintaining system records and monitoring key claim timeframes.

What we offer

- Enjoy a hybrid work arrangement working from home 1-2 days per week.
- Benefit from 16 weeks of paid primary parental leave.
- Complimentary salary continuance insurance.
- Discounted Medibank health insurance.
- Shape your career with an Individual Development Plan.
- Participate in our Wellness Program with AIA Vitality.
- Access our OneRewards Discount Program.

About you

- Experience in a Workers Compensation Administrator, Claims Administrator, Claims Support or similar workers compensation role.
- Demonstrated experience managing workers compensation claim administration, including claim lodgements, and claim documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with complex payment scenarios.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records across multiple systems.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with payroll teams, insurers, project stakeholders and injured workers.
