We're looking for a motivated and organised research professional who enjoys working collaboratively and turning data into meaningful insights. You'll be confident managing multiple priorities, have excellent communication skills and be passionate about improving health outcomes through high-quality research.

You'll thrive in this role if you have experience coordinating research projects, analysing and interpreting data, building strong relationships with stakeholders and working independently while contributing to a supportive, multidisciplinary team. An interest in perinatal, infant, child and adolescent mental health and service improvement will be highly regarded.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications in health and demonstrated post qualification clinical research experience in child and adolescent mental health and/or related health services research, evidenced through relevant peer-reviewed publications in academic journals.

Describe a research project you have contributed to within a health or mental health setting. In your response, outline your role in the project, including your involvement in activities such as literature reviews, data collection, comprehensive data analysis, end to end ethics process, grant applications, report writing, presentations and/or publications. Explain how your work contributed to the project's outcomes and the skills you used to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

This role requires working collaboratively with clinicians, researchers,

external stakeholders and research participants who may be consumers and carers of the health service; all of these to support research that improves child and adolescent mental health services. Provide an example of a time you built effective working relationships to achieve a research or service improvement outcome. In your response, describe how you communicated with all relevant stakeholders, managed all aspects of project requirements, ensured accuracy and attention to detail, and used technology or data to support the successful delivery of the project.

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.

If you’d like more details, we’re here to help.
