The Company is seeking a Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance to take on a pivotal role in the organization's growth and sector change. This senior leadership position is not just about compliance; it requires a strategic leader who can interpret regulatory requirements, build solid relationships with key stakeholders and regulators, and translate legislation into practical, business-focused outcomes. The successful candidate will lead the quality assurance, governance, and compliance frameworks, oversee adherence to higher education regulatory standards, and manage relationships with regulators and accreditation bodies.

Additionally, the role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives, providing strategic advice on legislative changes, and developing risk management and governance practices. To be considered for this role, candidates must have significant experience in leading quality assurance, compliance, governance,



or regulatory functions within the higher education sector. A strong understanding of the

Higher Education Support Act and associated regulatory frameworks is essential, as is experience in engaging with TEQSA, accreditation bodies, and government stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in navigating complex compliance and quality environments, exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and the ability to influence executive decision-making. A resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach is also required, with experience in a private higher education provider being highly regarded.
