An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join a large, commercially driven organisation with a broad market presence and a complex, multi-entity structure.

The role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities across multiple entities while reviewing the work of the wider team and ensuring key deadlines and KPIs are met.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing AR ledgers across multiple entities
- Leading, mentoring and reviewing the work of a small AR team
- Reconciling bank statements and matching deposits to the accounting system
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between banked amounts and system reports
- Maintaining debtor balances within agreed KPI levels
- Preparing accurate ad hoc invoices as required
- Responding to receivables queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting month-end close, including journals and reconciliations
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies across the AR function




- Working closely with stakeholders across a large and commercially focused organisation

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Strong hands on accounts receivable and reconciliations experience
- Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising a small team
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, organised and inquisitive approach to problem solving
- The confidence to take ownership and drive work through to completion
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Experience within a large, multi-entity or multi-divisional AR environment will be highly regarded
