Based at Horsham we are offering an opportunity for an organised and self-motivated individual to join our vibrant team as an agitator driver on a casual or full-time basis.
What's the Role?
- Deliver pre-mixed concrete to our customer sites
- Operate, load and maintain the agitator
- Conduct housekeeping and maintenance duties
- Active communication with Manager/s and others in your area of work
Site: Wim Mix Concrete Location: Horsham, VIC 3400
Employment Type: Full-time or casual prospect available, to be discussed with short-listed applicants
Remuneration Package: The remuneration package will be discussed with short-listed applicants. Above award rates drawn from the Road Transport and Distribution Award are offered with annual wage reviews.
Training Opportunities: A personalised training program (including on-the-job and Certified training) will be provided.
Do you have what it takes?
- A current Victorian Heavy Rigid Licence and outstanding driving report.
- Agitator experience preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of current road and traffic rules (incl. weight compliance, fatigue management and logbook entries).
- Honesty, punctuality and courtesy and be able to develop rapport with customers and workmates.
- High personal hygiene and presentation standards.
Recruitment Process provided upon request. Interview process includes discussion about job expectations and basic skill set testing. Pre-employment medical (incl. drug screen) and six-month trial period are required.
