About This Apprenticeship

This is a fantastic opportunity to complete your Air Conditioning Certificate III with us. You'll gain hands‑on experience across both domestic and commercial air conditioning systems while working towards your qualification. Upon completion, there's a clear pathway to continue your career with us by pursuing your Electrical Apprenticeship, opening up even more opportunities and growth potential.

Pay increases each year of your apprenticeship, with higher rates for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year apprentices

Role includes

- Assisting with installations and servicing of air conditioning equipment under supervision
- Learning to install and service splits and ducted units
- Gaining hands‑on experience with commercial systems including VRVs and package units
- Shadowing and assisting experienced technicians on job sites
- Learning to complete site surveys and basic job requirements
- Helping with equipment setup, testing, and commissioning
- Keeping your work vehicle clean and well stocked
- Keeping track of your daily schedule and letting the office know of any delays on site
- Learning our processes in Simpro such as forms, SWMS, and photos
- Checking in and out each day and completing time sheets in Simpro + Xero
- Assisting with site safety and compliance procedures
- Developing your problem‑solving skills on real‑world projects

Work includes

- Installation and servicing of air conditioning equipment from splits and ducted units, up to VRVs and package units
- Domestic and commercial work
- Varying workplaces such as offices, aged care, schools, businesses and residential
