We are currently looking for skilled and experienced Barbers/ Hairdresser to join our team. These are permanent, full-time positions.
Responsibilities
- Providing advice on hair care, products and hairstyles
- Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps
- Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
- Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
- Cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments
- Arranging appointments and collecting payments
- Provide consistent experience across all services including haircuts, shaves and beard services
- Open the shop in the morning and complete open admin tasks
- End of day close/cash reconciliation and handling
Qualifications and Skills
- AQF Certificate lll or minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Barber/Hairstylist
- Competent in all haircut styles, fades and on trend styling, as well as all shave and beard services
- Understand what is current in the industry
- A basic understanding of upselling techniques/retail offering
- A positive and respectful attitude
- Leadership qualities
