We are the Vietnamese restaurant located in Caringbah, Sydney, serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine and creating a friendly dining experience for our local community.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hand (Part time/Full time) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a hospitality student, recent graduate, or someone looking to gain practical experience and build a long-term career in the hospitality industry
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily food preparation, including washing, cutting and basic ingredient preparation.
- Support chefs during service with plating, preparation and restocking ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organised and protected kitchen environment, including benches, equipment and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and Work Health & Safety procedures.
- Assist with receiving, checking and properly storing deliveries.
- Perform general back-of-house duties to support smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Available to work at least 2 days per week.
- Currently studying or has completed a qualification in Hospitality or a related field(preferred).
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
- A positive team player with good communication skills.
- Interested in developing their skills and building a career in hospitality.
- Eligible to work in Australia (Subclass 500 and 485 visa holders are welcome to apply), subject to their applicable work conditions.
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
- Vietnamese-speaking ability is an advantage but not essential.
