A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Service Technician to join a professional and safety-focused team in Brisbane. This role suits a trade-qualified technician with strong diagnostic capability who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality service across heavy equipment in a workshop and field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment
- Accurately record all work completed, including parts usage and labour time
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure tools and equipment are cared for correctly
- Work closely with team members and customers to identify service needs and provide solutions
- Follow all safety procedures and represent the organisation professionally on-site
- Deliver reliable technical support and customer service
- Contribute to a culture of safety,
innovation, and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent
- Hands‑on experience with heavy diesel equipment, including major repairs and overhauls
- Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, hydraulic, and IT systems
- Excellent communication skills with a customer‑focused approach
- Valid driver’s licence and unrestricted Australian working rights
- Safety‑conscious, solutions‑focused, and proactive work style
- Relevant certifications or licences (to be confirmed during recruitment process)
