This role is responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared to high standards of taste, presentation, and food safety. Day-to-day tasks include food preparation, cooking menu items to order, coordinating with other kitchen team members during service, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the work area. The Chef De Partie contributes to menu consistency, assists with stock rotation and ordering, and supports training of junior kitchen staff.



This position requires cooperation with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver a smooth service and a positive dining experience for guests.Qualifications Professional cooking experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally in a Chef De Partie or similar role.Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating across multiple sections (e.g., grill, pans, larder).Sound knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and safe kitchen operations.Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a cooperative approach to supporting colleagues.Good time management and organisational skills, including stock control and section preparation.Relevant culinary qualifications or apprenticeship completion are highly regarded.Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.Commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory workplace.
