About the project
McConnell Dowell, in Joint Venture with SRG, has been awarded the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Supply Scheme (GAWSS) Project for Water Corporation — a major infrastructure program that will help secure Western Australia's water network for decades to come.
This significant project includes the renewal of critical water infrastructure across regional WA, improving reliability and resilience for communities throughout the Goldfields and Wheatbelt.
Project highlights:
Renew 44.5km of ageing Goldfields pipeline. Upgrade critical valves to improve network reliability. Expand the Binduli Reservoir to double water storage capacity. Work across the Merredin, Westonia and Yilgarn regions.
About the role
We are looking for a proactive Site Administrator to help keep our project running efficiently from our Merredin site. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day site administration, supporting our Project Manager and site team while ensuring everything behind the scenes is organized and operating smoothly.
Key information: This role is offered on a 2:1 Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roster, working approximately 11-hour days (7:00am-6:00pm). Commercial accommodation and meals are provided, making it ideal for someone based in regional WA or willing to regularly travel to Merredin.
Key responsibilities Coordinate onboarding, inductions, accommodation and site logistics. Support payroll, timesheets, purchase orders and invoice processing. Maintain site office supplies, PPE, uniforms and general administration. Manage project records, documentation and filing systems. Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and wider site team.

What will you bring? Previous experience in site administration, project administration or office coordination within construction, mining or infrastructure. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems (experience with project systems is advantageous). A current driver's license and the ability to work a DIDO roster to Merredin (local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply).
