Petridis Architects is a well-established architectural practice with a strong history of delivering projects across the residential, childcare and community sectors. We are seeking a dedicated draftsperson with excellent technical skills to join our team. This role is suited for a qualified who is highly capable with architectural software and can confidently coordinate project documentation and design modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist construction managers, architects and building surveyors with project planning, coordination and delivery.
- Interpret architectural drawings, planning controls, regulations, the National construction code and relevant Australian standards.
- Prepare preliminary sketches, concept drawings, working drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Prepare, edit and revise architectural plans, maps, charts and detailed drawings throughout all project stages.
- Coordinate project programmes, consultant deliverables and documentation schedules to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Inspect construction works and materials to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, regulations and quality standards.




- Collect and verify site information through site inspections, measurements and surveying data where required.
- Perform routine calculations, analyse project data and prepare preliminary information to support design development and documentation.

Key Requirements:

- An Advanced diploma of building design, or Associate degree.
- Minimum work experience 2-3 years.
- Proven proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated capability in Rhino and Grasshopper.
- Experience producing high-quality renders using Enscape, D5 Render, or Blender.
- Practical understanding of the project lifecycle from design through to approval, with project experience in the residential and childcare sectors.
- Familiarity with SketchUp is highly regarded.
- Ability to coordinate efficiently across different software platforms and work effectively within a team environment.To Apply:
