Sunrise Kids Early Learning Centre is looking for a passionate, capable and inspiring Assistant Service Manager / Educational Leader to join our team. This is an opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and supportive Service Manager in a family-owned service that is truly committed to creating positive outcomes for children, families and educators.
You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day leadership of the service while inspiring quality educational practice across the team.
About the role
As our Assistant Service Manager / Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Service Manager to:
- Support the daily operations and leadership of the service
- Mentor, coach and inspire educators to grow in their practice
- Lead and support the development of high-quality educational programs
- Strengthen curriculum decision-making and reflective practice
- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework and service policies
- Build genuine, respectful relationships with children and families
- Contribute to the service’s Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement
- Help create a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture
- Step into leadership responsibilities when required
What we’re looking for
We would love to hear from someone who:
- Holds an approved Diploma or higher Early Childhood qualification
- Has experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
- Has strong knowledge of the EYLF,
National Quality Standard and National Regulations
- Is passionate about mentoring and developing educators
- Communicates confidently and builds strong relationships
- Is organised, proactive and solutions-focused
- Leads with warmth, professionalism and integrity
- Wants to be part of a service where leadership is visible, supportive and genuinely invested in the team
