What this role is all about

We’re looking for an Audio Visual Consultant to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build their career in AV consulting and work across a diverse range of projects.

Working alongside experienced consultants and engineers, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of integrated audio-visual solutions across a variety of sectors. You’ll gain exposure to projects from early concept and design through to documentation, coordination and delivery, while continuing to develop your technical and consulting capability.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team where you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas and take greater ownership as your experience grows.

How you’ll contribute day-to-day

- Support the design and documentation of audio-visual systems across a range of projects.
- Assist with developing AV concepts, layouts, schematics, specifications and technical documentation..
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders to help develop practical and integrated solutions.
- Coordinate AV requirements with other building services disciplines throughout the design process.
- Assist with equipment selection and technical research to identify solutions that meet project and client requirements.
- Participate in project meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.




- Support senior team members with project delivery while progressively taking ownership of your own tasks and smaller project components.
- Keep up to date with emerging AV technologies and contribute ideas around how they can be applied to our projects.
- Build solid relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and industry partners.

What sets you up for success To thrive in this role, you’ll be someone who:

- Has around 1–2 years’ experience in audio visual consulting, design, integration or a related technical environment.
- Has a genuine interest in AV technology and how it can improve the way people communicate, collaborate and experience spaces.
- Has an understanding of AV systems and technologies, with an eagerness to continue building your technical knowledge.
- Is comfortable working with technical drawings, documentation and specifications.
- Enjoys solving problems and has strong attention to detail.
- Communicates clearly and enjoys working collaboratively with different disciplines and stakeholders.
- Is curious and proactive, and isn’t afraid to ask questions or contribute new ideas.
- Is organised and able to manage priorities across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Wants to develop their consulting skills and take on greater responsibility as their experience grows.
- Values teamwork, accountability and building strong relationships.
